Donations to help cover monthly meds for Trina
Intake photo - severly matted Shaved- you can see emaciation

Trina's hair is growing back in

Trina was found as a stray, starved at 36lbs of skin & bones.
Anemic from the fleas & could barely stand. X-rays show double hip dysplasia. Our Vets do not reccomend surgery so we are getting much needed weight on her and managing with pain meds, adequan injections and gabapectin. She frequently uses Pee pee pads and is a picky eater so the Stella & Chewey Mixers she loves really adds up.

If you'd like to contribute to help maintain Trina's daily meds use our Paypal button or mail to the HCR PO Box 526

2014 Tomball, TX Seizure

HCR was awarded 152 Collies
placed in our care by the
Federal Court

Thanks to the many Volunteers, Foster homes, & supporters who helped in the placement of these Collies.

Entered on 9/11/14 in the
United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division
RE: Elaine Ann Kmiec

This Court cannot leave unspoken its deep appreciation for Houston Collie Rescue, its many Volunteers and the Citizens of this community, this State and Country that has given their time and their money to right this unspeakable wrong. It gives the Court great comfort to know that there are so many good people willing to stand up for those living creatures that cannot speak or fend for themselves and who will not tolerate the mistreatment of life, regardless of form.

David R. Jones
United States Bankruptcy Judge

Fostering Program

Houston Collie Rescue is always in need of foster homes especially foster homes and or adopters who do not have any dogs in their homes. Some collies are so hungry for human attention and affection that they do not like to share their humans with other dogs. These collies are beautiful, sweet, and well behaved with people. Since most of our foster homes are collie lovers, only dog homes are in short supply.

Houston Collie Rescue provides the continuous Vetting for these dogs as
well as monthly heartworm preventative.
We can even help subsidize
the cost of food if needed.
